Varsity Champion Acappella / Carollers

Carollers was formed by a group of talented, individualistic, music-loving residents at the National University of Singapore, way back in 1995. We are a group of singers who perform without instrumentation – everything you hear in our songs is produced by the human voice.

Our teams have topped the group category at varsity-level competitions such as Talentquest, as well as at Stardust for 3 consecutive years. We recently came in 2nd in the Singapore Acappella Championships, upper-college category, and 2nd in the Championships Open category.

The caroller is in demand during the Christmas season; our previous gigs include carolling at Swissotel Merchant Court , Sentosa Resort and Spa, CHIJMES, Kinokuniya (Singapore), Timberland stores, as well as Singapore Changi International Airport over the past 4 years. We have also sung at functions (such as private Christmas parties) and events (such as weddings and office parties). spreading the yuletide cheer with our special warm brew of melodious tunes.

In recent years we have taken our performances beyond the varsity and into the Esplanade Theatres on the Bay, Singapore’s premier arts facility. Apart from singing at Singapore Art Cafe showcases, we also performed at the Esplanade Concourseas part of the Gathering Of Talents (GOT!) series, and as part of the Roots Reinterpreted series.
