Engaged for Cathay Movie Promotion, Ooffle delivered a vibrant on-ground promotional activation to drive awareness and footfall for Cathay’s free movie screening programme. Designed as a multi-touchpoint outdoor campaign, the activation combined large-scale visuals, mobile sound promotion, live manpower engagement, and experiential giveaways—turning the venue frontage into a dynamic pre-show experience.

Strategically positioned at Cathay’s building façade and surrounding public areas, the activation maximised visibility while creating excitement and anticipation ahead of the screening sessions.

Inflatable Installations & Illuminated Elements

To anchor the promotion visually, Ooffle deployed a large inflatable installation / backdrop placed prominently at the building frontage, acting as the primary visual beacon for the campaign. This was further enhanced by illuminated inflatable columns and arch elements, adding nighttime visibility and festive ambience to the activation zone.

These high-impact structures ensured strong brand recall while clearly signalling the movie screening experience to passing audiences.

Mobile Promotion & Audience Engagement

Sound, Manpower & Ticket Distribution

Ooffle supported the activation with a mobile sound system, enabling music playback and live announcements to draw attention throughout the event window. Trained promotional staff conducted roving outreach, engaging the public directly and distributing custom-printed movie tickets to drive participation.

In addition, human billboard promoters were deployed across key time slots over two days, reinforcing messaging and ensuring continuous presence during peak footfall hours.

To enhance the on-site experience for moviegoers, Ooffle provided a popcorn machine offering complimentary popcorn during screening hours—adding a classic cinema touchpoint that increased dwell time and audience satisfaction.

Supporting the campaign’s outreach, Ooffle also produced a 30-second promotional video, extending the activation beyond physical space into digital and pre-event marketing channels.
